His Royal Highness attended meetings with the Mayor of Tianjin, China, the Chairman of Rio Tinto, the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Trade and Industry, the Director of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Executive Director of Upstream International Shell, the Chairman of Unilever, the Mexican Minister for Economic Affairs, the Chief Executive of HGW Management, the Chief Executive of Apax Partners, the Chairman of BT Group, the Chief Executive of Petrofac, the Chief Executive of Prudential, the Premier of Quebec and The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Duke of York this evening gave a “United Kingdom – Standing Out” Reception at the Steigenberger Belvedere.
His Royal Highness afterwards attended a World Food Programme Reception and subsequently attended a Dinner given by Bombardier Incorporated at the Morosani Posthotel.

His Royal Highness today visited Putteridge Bury, Luton Campus, the University of Bedfordshire, Park Square, Luton.
The Earl of Wessex this afternoon visited the United Kingdom Centre for Carnival Arts, St. Mary’s Road, Luton.

The Princess Royal this morning visited the Erskine Home, Bishopton, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Renfrewshire (Mr. Guy Clark).
Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Erskine Park Home, Bishopton.
The Princess Royal subsequently visited Erskine Mains Home, Meadows Drive, Erskine, Renfrewshire.
Her Royal Highness later visited Vascutek Limited, Newmains Avenue, Inchinnan, Renfrewshire.

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust, was represented by Mr. Christopher Older (former Chairman) at the Memorial Service for Captain John Stewart (former Director) which was held in St. Laurence Church, Weston Underwood, Buckinghamshire, today.
