The Queen was represented by Mrs. Anthony Pitt-Rivers (Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset) at the Funeral Service for the Hon. Mrs. Marten which was held in the Church of Wimborne St. Giles, Wimborne, Dorset, this afternoon.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall were represented by the Dowager Duchess of Devonshire.
The Duke of Gloucester was represented by Mr. John Curtis.
Clarence House
The Prince of Wales this morning received the Lord Shuttleworth (Chairman of the Council, Duchy of Lancaster) and Mr. Paul Clarke (Clerk of the Council).
His Royal Highness, President, Business in the Community, afterwards held a Meeting at Clarence House.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited Wootton Bassett to thank the townspeople for their support to bereaved families of the Armed Forces, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire (Mr. John Bush).
St James’s Palace
Prince Henry of Wales this morning departed Gatwick Airport, London, for Barbados.
His Royal Highness this afternoon called upon the Governor-General of Barbados (Sir Clifford Straughn Husbands) at Government House.
Mr. James Lowther-Pinkerton and Miss Eva Omaghomi are in attendance.

The Duke of York, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, today attended meetings at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, with The President of Mongolia, the Chairman of Unilever, the Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry, The Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Chairman of the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand and the President of the China Investment Corporation.
His Royal Highness attended Seminars on “Global Redesign — Priorities for Strengthening the International System” and “Food Security, Nutrition and Sustainable Agriculture: an Agenda for Action”.
The Duke of York this evening attended a Dinner given by the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Buckingham Palace
The Countess of Wessex, Colonel-in-Chief, Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps, today attended the Passing Out Parade and Lunch at the Army Training Centre, Pirbright, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Mrs. Timothy Goad).

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust, was represented by Mr. Christopher Older (former Chairman) at the Memorial Service for Captain John Stewart (former Director) which was held in St. Laurence Church, Weston Underwood, Buckinghamshire, today.
