His Excellency Mr. Ephraim Ngare was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Kenya in London.
Mrs. Ngare was also received by Her Majesty.
His Excellency Shaikh Abdulaziz Abdullah Al-Hinai was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Sultanate of Oman to the Court of St. James’s.
Mrs. Al Hinai was also received by Her Majesty.
Sir Peter Ricketts (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.
The Hon. Philip Lee was received in audience by The Queen upon his appointment as Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this evening attended a Reception at Australia House, the Strand, London WC2, to mark the Centenary of Australian Diplomatic Representation in London, and were received by the High Commissioner for the Commonwealth of Australia (His Excellency Mr. John Dauth).
The Duke of Edinburgh, President Emeritus, World Wide Fund for Nature – International, this afternoon held a Luncheon at Buckingham Palace and presented The Duke of Edinburgh’s Conservation Medal.

His Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, Army Air Corps, later visited 9 Regiment at Dishforth, Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
The Prince of Wales, Colonel-in-Chief, this evening gave a Dinner for The Royal Dragoon Guards, 1st Battalion The Mercian Regiment, 9 Regiment Army Air Corps and for Headquarters 4th (Mechanised) Brigade.
The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited the Haven Paddington Sexual Assault Referral Centre, St. Mary’s Hospital, Praed Street, London W2, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).
Her Royal Highness afterwards visited the Metropolitan Police Sapphire Unit at Kilburn Police Station, 38 Salusbury Road, London NW6.

The Earl of Wessex today visited Sheffield and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire (Mr. David Moody).
His Royal Highness this morning opened the new Headquarters of Pressure Technologies plc at Chesterfield Cylinders Limited, Meadowhall Road.
The Earl of Wessex afterwards opened the new premises for the Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind at 5 Mapping Street.
His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Sheffield Digital Campus, Concourse Way.
The Earl of Wessex later attended a Luncheon with Sheffield City Council at the Town Hall.
His Royal Highness afterwards opened the renovated Crucible Theatre, 55 Norfolk Street.
