The President of the Republic of Rwanda and Mrs. Kagame visited The Queen today.
The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, this afternoon attended the Commonwealth Day Observance Service in Westminster Abbey and was received by the Dean of Westminster (the Very Reverend Dr. John Hall) and the Chairman of the Council of Commonwealth Societies (the Lord Watson of Richmond).
Her Majesty, accompanied by His Royal Highness, was present this evening at a Reception given by the Commonwealth Secretary-General (His Excellency Mr. Kamalesh Sharma) at Marlborough House.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon attended the Commonwealth Day Observance Service in Westminster Abbey.
His Royal Highness later received Dr. Eric Chivian (Director of the Center for Health and the Global Environment, Harvard Medical School).
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Reception given by the Commonwealth Secretary-General at Marlborough House.
His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Regeneration Trust, afterwards gave a Dinner at St. James’s Palace.

The Duke of York, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, this morning called upon the Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority (His Excellency Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak), in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
His Royal Highness, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, afterwards called upon the Director General of Abu Dhabi Education Council (His Excellency Dr. Mugheer Al Khaili).
The Duke of York, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, later called upon the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the United Arab Emirates (Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan).
His Royal Highness, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, this evening arrived at Mumbai Airport, India, and was received by Mr. Peter Beckingham (Deputy British High Commissioner to the Republic of India).

The Countess of Wessex this morning opened the One Hundredth Cornwall Music Festival at Truro Methodist Church and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall (the Lady Mary Holborow).
Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened the Cornwall Hotel, Spa and Estate at Tregorrick, near St. Austell, Cornwall.
The Countess of Wessex later opened the Bishop Cornish Education Centre, Bishop Cornish Church of England Primary School, Lyner Drive, Saltash, Cornwall.

The Princess Royal, President, The Princess Royal Trust for Carers, this afternoon visited Accenture Management, Kingsley Hall, 20 Bailey Lane, Manchester Airport, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Mr. Warren Smith).
Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Butler Trust, later visited Her Majesty’s Prison Manchester, Southall Street, Manchester.
