The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, this evening attended the Liverymen’s Annual Dinner at the Garrick Club, 15 Garrick Street, London WC2, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

The Prince of Wales, Colonel-in-Chief, The Mercian Regiment, this morning received Lieutenant Colonel Simon Banton upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer of 2nd Battalion, and Lieutenant Colonel Colin Marks upon assuming the appointment.

His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Trust, today visited Westminster Kingsway College, the Victoria Centre, Vincent Square, London SW1, and was received by Dr. Paul Knapman (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Prince of Wales this afternoon received Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton upon his appointment as Chief of the Air Staff.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon received the Mayor of London (Mr. Boris Johnson).

His Royal Highness this morning called upon the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Mahindra and Mahindra (Mr. Anand Mahindra).

The Duke of York this afternoon called upon the Chairman of the Essar Group (Mr. Shashi Ruia).

His Royal Highness afterwards called upon the Principal of HR College of Commerce and Economics (Dr. Indu Shahani).

The Duke of York later visited the Jaguar Land Rover Showroom and attended a Meeting with the President of Tata Motors, Passenger Cars Division (Mr Rajiv Dube).

His Royal Highness this evening attended a presentation given by Quantel.

The Duke of York later attended a Reception for inward investors at Taj Lands End Hotel.

His Royal Highness subsequently attended a Dinner for business leaders given by Mr. Peter Beckingham (Deputy British High Commissioner to the Republic of India) at Taj Lands End Hotel.

The Earl of Wessex this evening attended a Dinner for Seafarers UK on board HMS Victory, HM Naval Base Portsmouth, Hampshire.

The Countess of Wessex, Trustee, Royal National Institute for Deaf People, this morning held a Meeting.

Her Royal Highness this evening attended the Royal Army Chaplains Department Annual Dinner to honour the Life of the Reverend Edward Mellish VC at Headquarters Land Forces, Pewsey, Wiltshire.
