His Royal Highness was received later by The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia at Janadriya, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Duke of York later attended a Meeting with Mr. Chen Demming (Minister of Commerce).
His Royal Highness afterwards attended a Meeting with Mr. Liu Mingkang (Chairman of the China Banking Regulatory Commission) at the China World Hotel.
The Duke of York subsequently attended a Meeting with Mr. Peter Sutherland (Chairman of Goldman Sachs International).
His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Business Lunch at Panggu Plaza.
The Duke of York later opened the new campus of the British School of Beijing.
His Royal Highness subsequently departed Beijing for the United Arab Emirates and was received upon arrival this evening in Dubai by Her Majesty’s Consul-General for Dubai (Mr. Guy Warrington).

The Duke of Gloucester this morning opened Bury Transport Museum, Castlecroft Goods Warehouse, Castlecroft Road, Bury, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Mr. Warren Smith).
His Royal Highness afterwards opened Bury Black Pudding Company Limited, J2 Business Park, Bridgehall Lane, Bury.
The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon opened the Kashmir Youth Project Centre, Belfield Road, Rochdale.
His Royal Highness afterwards opened the Croft Shifa Health Centre in Belfield Road.
The Duke of Gloucester later visited Manchester Law Library to commemorate the One Hundred and Ninetieth Anniversary of its foundation and the One Hundred and Twenty Fifth Anniversary of its premises at 14 Kennedy Street, Manchester.
His Royal Highness, President, Clubs for Young People, subsequently opened Norbrook Youth Club, Bordley Walk, Northern Moor, Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester.
