His Excellency Mr. Omar Jelban was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya to the Court of St. James’s.
Mrs. Fatma Shaibi was also received by Her Majesty.
His Excellency Mr. Patrick Pillay was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Seychelles in London.

The Queen, Duke of Lancaster, was entertained to Dinner by past and present Chancellors of the Duchy of Lancaster this evening at the Lanesborough Hotel, London SW1, and was received by the present Chancellor of the Duchy (the Baroness Royall of Blaisdon).
The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, this afternoon held The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Local Authority Conference and Luncheon at Buckingham Palace.
His Royal Highness, Patron, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this evening held a Dinner at Buckingham Palace.
The Lord Faulkner of Worcester (Lord in Waiting) was present at Heathrow Airport, London, this morning upon the Arrival of the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The Queen.

The Princess Royal, President, The Princess Royal Trust for Carers, later visited Haringey Carers at the Haynes Centre, 151 Park Road, London N8.
Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Firefighters Memorial Charitable Trust, this evening attended a Reception onboard HMS BELFAST, London SE1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).
Kensington Palace
The Duchess of Gloucester, Commandant-in-Chief, St. John Ambulance in Wales, this afternoon opened the Pembrokeshire Centre, St. John House, Salutation Square, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dyfed (the Hon. Robin Lewis).
Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Portfield Special School, Haverfordwest, and was received by Mr. Anthony Brown (Deputy Lieutenant of Dyfed).
The Duchess of Gloucester, Commandant-in-Chief, St. John Ambulance in Wales, later opened Ferryside Inshore Lifeboat Station, Ferryside, Carmarthenshire.
