COURT CIRCULAR

Windsor Castle

The Queen held a Council at 10.00 a.m.

There were present: the Baroness Royall of Blaisdon (acting for the Lord President), the Rt. Hon. Margaret Hodge MP (Minister of State, Department for Culture, Media and Sport), the Rt. Hon. David Lammy MP (Minister of State, Department for Business Innovation and Skills) and the Rt. Hon. Christopher Geidt (Private Secretary to The Queen).

Miss Judith Simpson was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.

The Baroness Royall of Blaisdon had an audience of Her Majesty before the Council.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this afternoon held Meetings at Buckingham Palace.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this morning opened Berrywood Hospital, Berrywood Drive, Northampton, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Northamptonshire (the Lady Juliet Townsend).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Sheep Street, Northampton.

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon opened the bridge at the restored Bury Mount and the Water Meadows, the Mill, Moat Lane, Towcester, Northamptonshire.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Honorary Freeman, the Worshipful Company of Drapers, this afternoon attended the Drapers’ Almshouses Annual Tea Party at Drapers’ Hall, Throgmorton Avenue, London EC2.
