The Queen was represented by the Earl Peel (Lord Chamberlain) at the Memorial Service for the Life of Lady Scott which was held in St. Mary’s Church, Berkeley, Gloucestershire, today.

The Duke of Edinburgh was represented by Brigadier Clive Robertson.

The Prince of Wales was represented by Sir Henry Elwes.

Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy was represented by the Lady Mary Mumford.

His Royal Highness this morning called on the Mayor of Milan (Mrs. Letizia Moratti) at the Palazzo Marino.

The Duke of York later called on the Honourable Senator Lucio Stanca (Chief Executive of the Milan Expo 2015) at Palazzo Reale.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Sir James Henderson School.

The Duke of York afterwards attended a Lunch Lunch with Mr. Riccardo De Corato (Deputy Mayor of Milan) and representatives of the British business community.

His Royal Highness later visited the Via Tortona Design Exhibition at Via Tortona.

The Duke of York afterwards held a Meeting with Mr. Luca Di Montezemolo (Chairman of Fiat and Ferrari) and Mr. Matteo Di Montezemolo (Chief Executive of Poltrona Frau Group) at the Via Savona Showroom.

His Royal Highness this evening attended a Reception for United Kingdom Design at La Rinascente.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, today carried out the following engagements in Newport and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gwent (Mr. Simon Boyle).

His Royal Highness this morning opened the new wing of Rivermead Community Centre, Fuschia Way, Rogerstone, Newport.

The Earl of Wessex later met young people from the Open Duke of Edinburgh Centre, Info Shop, 133 Commercial Street, Newport.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attend a Reception at Bisley Office Furniture, Caswell Way, Liswerry, Newport.

The Earl of Wessex later visited the Velodrome, Newport International Sports Village, Newport.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal this morning visited a Custody Suite at Eastbourne Investigation and Detainee Handling Centre at Sussex Police, Hammonds Drive, Eastbourne, Sussex, and was received by Mrs. Michael Stoner (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of East Sussex).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon attended an Integrated Offender Management Programme Seminar at Sussex Police Headquarters, Malling House, Malling, Lewes, Sussex, and was received by Mrs. Bryan Hamblin (Deputy Lord-Lieutenant of East Sussex).

The Princess Royal, Director, London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games, this evening attended a Dinner in Evershot, Dorset.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Patron, this evening attended a Concert given by the London Philharmonic Orchestra at the South Bank Centre, Belvedere Road, London SE1.

Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park

Princess Alexandra this afternoon opened Cornwall’s Regimental Museum, the Keep, Bodmin and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall (the Lady Mary Holborow).

Her Royal Highness later visited Cornwall College students studying for the Foundation Degree in Zoological Conservation at Newquay Zoo, Trenance Park, Newquay.
