The Duke of York, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, today carried out the following engagements in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

His Royal Highness this morning called upon The President of Turkmenistan.

The Duke of York later called upon Mr Baymyrat Khodjamukhamedov (Deputy Prime Minister for Oil and Gas).

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Lunch given by the Government of Turkmenistan.

The Duke of York this evening arrived in Kazakhstan and was received by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan (His Excellency Mr David. Moran).

His Royal Highness later attended a Reception for the British Business Community at the Intercontinental Hotel, Almaty.
