Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Newfoundland Regiment, afterwards visited Branch 56 Royal Canadian Legion, Pleasantville, St. John’s.

The Princess Royal subsequently opened the Caribou Trail Memorial Park in Pleasantville.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Marine Institute at the University of Newfoundland.

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, later attended the Regimental Parade and presented new Colours to the Royal Newfoundland Regiment at Mile One Stadium, St. John’s.

Princess Alexandra, Colonel-in-Chief, The Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada, this morning visited the Regimental Museum at Casa Loma Museum, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and subsequently attended a Reception for the Regiment at the Museum.

Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, this evening attended the One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary Dinner of The Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada Association, Toronto Branch, at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel, Toronto.
