The Princess Royal subsequently opened the Caribou Trail Memorial Park in Pleasantville.
Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Marine Institute at the University of Newfoundland.
The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, later attended the Regimental Parade and presented new Colours to the Royal Newfoundland Regiment at Mile One Stadium, St. John’s.

Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, this evening attended the One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary Dinner of The Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada Association, Toronto Branch, at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel, Toronto.
