The Queen held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

By command of Her Majesty, Mr. Charles Gray (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr. Staffan Carlsson at 27 Portland Place, London W1, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Kingdom of Sweden to the Court of St. James’s.

The Prince of Wales, Colonel-in-Chief, Army Air Corps, this morning took the salute at a Flying Badge Presentation Ceremony at the Army Aviation Centre, Middle Wallop, Hampshire.

The Princess Royal this morning attended Malvern Spring Gardening Show at the Showground, Malvern, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Worcestershire (Mr. Michael Brinton).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened Thirlestaine Breast Centre, Cobalt House, Linton House Clinic, Thirlestaine Road, Cheltenham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Sir Henry Elwes).
