Buckingham Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh, Founder and Patron, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award World Fellowship, this evening held a Dinner at Buckingham Palace.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this afternoon attended the Building a Legacy of Peace Service, in memory of young victims of violence, in Westminster Cathedral, London SW1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

His Royal Highness, President, later held a Meeting for The Prince’s Charities Foundation (China) at Clarence House.

The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Charities Foundation (China), this evening attended the Royal film première of “the Emperor’s Secret Garden” at the British Museum, Great Russell Street, London WC1.

His Royal Highness, Patron, the Parachute Regimental Association, was represented by Mr. Anthony Worth (Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire) at the Memorial Service for Mr. Richard Todd (Honorary Member, the Parachute Regimental Association) which was held in St. Wulfram’s Church, Grantham, Lincolnshire, this afternoon.

The Duke of York, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, today carried out the following engagements in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

His Royal Highness this morning called upon the Governor of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (Amr Al Dabbagh).

The Duke of York afterwards called upon Prince Khalid bin Sultan Abdulaziz Al Saud at the Ministry of Defence.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Meeting with Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Rashid (Vice President of the King Abdullah City of Science and Technology).

The Duke of York later visited the Saudi Arabian British Bank and remained to Lunch.

His Royal Highness this evening called upon Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (Vice Minister of Interior).

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman, International Special Projects Group (for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award), this morning held a Meeting.

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Foundation, this afternoon held a Meeting at Buckingham Palace with a delegation from The Prince of Wales’s Charities Foundation (China).

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Foundation, afterwards held a Meeting at Buckingham Palace.

The Countess of Wessex, President, the Disability Partnership (Move Europe), this morning visited Stanton Vale School, Thoresby Road, Long Eaton, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Derbyshire (Mr. William Tucker).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened Alfreton Leisure Centre, Church Street, Alfreton, Derbyshire.

The Countess of Wessex later opened Chesterfield Birth Centre, Chesterfield Royal Hospital National Health Service Foundation Trust, Calow, Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, President, this afternoon visited a Save the Children UK shop at 18 High Street, Lymington, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Dame Mary Fagan).

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Lymington New Forest Hospital, Wellworthy Road, Lymington, and opened the new Magnetic Resonance Imaging Suite.

The Princess Royal, Honorary Fellow, the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology, this evening attended a Conference Committee Dinner onboard HMS Victory, HM Naval Base, Portsmouth, Hampshire.
