His Excellency Mr. Johan Verbeke was received in audience by The Queen this afternoon and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Kingdom of Belgium to the Court of St. James’s.
Mrs. Verbeke was also received by Her Majesty.
His Excellency Mr. Aristidis Sandis was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Hellenic Republic to the Court of St. James’s.
Mrs. Ekaterini Simopoulou was also received by Her Majesty.
Mr. Simon Martin (Vice Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps, Foreign and Commonwealth Office) was present.

Guy Norrie who delivered up his Stick of Office upon his retirement as Lieutenant, Lieutenant Colonel Peter Chamberlin who delivered up his Stick of Office upon relinquishing his appointment as Clerk of the Cheque and Adjutant and received his Stick of Office upon his appointment as Lieutenant, Major Jeremy Warren who received his Stick of Office upon his appointment as Clerk of the Cheque and Adjutant, Colonel Robert ffrench Blake who delivered up his Stick of Office upon his retirement as Harbinger and Colonel Sir Brian Barttelot, Bt. who received his Stick of Office upon his appointment as Harbinger of Her Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms.
The Rt. Hon. Tessa Jowell, MP had an audience of The Queen and took leave upon relinquishing her appointment as Minister for the Cabinet Office, Olympics and Paymaster General.
