The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this morning visited HMS Ocean at HM Naval Base Devonport, Plymouth, Devon, and were received by Devonport Naval Base Commander (Commodore Ian Jess), the Commanding Officer (Captain Keith Blount RN) and Commander Mark Taylor RN (Executive Officer).
Her Majesty, with His Royal Highness, was received with a Royal Salute and The Queen inspected the Guard.
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness afterwards embarked in HMS Ocean, viewed equipment displays and met members of the Ship’s Company.
Subsequently The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were entertained to Luncheon in the Wardroom by the Commanding Officer.
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness later met further members of the Ship’s Company and their families.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Trustee of the Council, St George’s House, this evening attended the Annual Lecture in St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.
Palace of Holyroodhouse
The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay and The Duchess of Rothesay this morning visited Arrochar Parish Church and the Three Villages Community Hall in Arrochar and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dunbartonshire (Rear Admiral Michael Gregory).
Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited Luss Parish Church, Alexandria.
The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this afternoon attended a Youth United Meeting at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire.
His Royal Highness, Patron, Combat Stress, afterwards held a Reception at Dumfries House.
The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay and The Duchess of Rothesay this evening held a Ceilidh at the Palace of Holyroodhouse for the Scottish Traditional Skills Training Centre.
The Duchess of Rothesay, President, Scotland’s Gardens Scheme, this afternoon visited Duntreath Castle, Blanefield, Stirlingshire, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Stirling and Falkirk (Mrs Marjory McLachlan).

Her Royal Highness this evening attended the Rifles Reception and took the salute at Beating Retreat at the Royal Bath and West of England Society Show.

Her Royal Highness, Honorary President, the Lawn Tennis Association, today attended a Lunch given by Monsieur Jean Gachassin (President, Fédération Française de Tennis) and this afternoon attended the French Open Championships at Stade Roland Garros, Paris.
The Duchess of Gloucester this evening arrived at St. Pancras International Railway Station, London, from France.
