The Duke of Edinburgh, Chancellor, University of Cambridge, today carried out the following engagements in Cambridge.

His Royal Highness this morning visited Homerton College.

The Duke of Edinburgh afterwards officially opened the Butler Reading Room Library at Corpus Christi College.

His Royal Highness this afternoon conferred Honorary Degrees at a Graduation Ceremony and subsequently attended a Luncheon at Corpus Christi College.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Sir Michael Oswald (National Hunt Adviser to The Queen) at the Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving for the Life of Mr Richard Francis which was held in the Church of St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square, London WC2, this afternoon.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall were represented by the Lord Daresbury.

The Princess Royal was represented by Mr Brough Scott.

The Prince of Wales, President, this afternoon held a Reception for The Prince of Wales’s Business and Sustainability Programme.

His Royal Highness, President, this evening held a Dinner at Windsor Castle for The Prince’s Drawing School.

The Princess Royal this morning opened an Emissions Reduction Test Facility at Doosan Babcock Energy Limited, Porterfield Road, Renfrew, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Renfrewshire (Mr Guy Clark).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Columba 1400, this afternoon opened Columba 1400 Loch Lomond at Ardoch, Gartocharn, Alexandria, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dunbartonshire (Rear Admiral Michael Gregory).

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon departed Heathrow Airport, London, for the Republic of Korea.
