The Countess of Wessex, Colonel-in-Chief, Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps, this morning visited 205 Field Hospital, Cameron Barracks, Old Perth Road, Inverness, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Inverness (Donald Cameron of Lochiel).

The Princess Royal, Royal Colonel, The Royal Scots Borderers, 1st Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland, this afternoon visited B Company at Victoria Barracks, Queen’s Road, Ballater, Aberdeenshire.

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Castlehill Housing Association to commemorate its Tenth Anniversary, Monaltrie Court, Ballater, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire (Mr James Ingleby).

The Princess Royal later visited Aberdeenshire Council Resource Centre and Castlehill Housing Association Very Sheltered Housing to commemorate their Tenth Anniversary, Dalvenie Gardens, Raemoir Lane, Banchory, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Kincardineshire (Mrs Roderick Kinghorn).
