His Royal Highness this afternoon launched the START Royal Tour at Glasgow Central Station and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow (Councillor Robert Winter, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).
The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, President, Scottish Business in the Community, this afternoon held a Meeting to discuss START Scotland.
His Royal Highness later visited START Scotland, St Andrew Square, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor George Grubb, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).
The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay afterwards visited the START Living Shop, St James Shopping Centre, Leith Street, Edinburgh.
His Royal Highness this evening received Mr Ian Cheshire (Chief Executive, B&Q).
The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay later gave a Dinner for the START Partner Chief Executives.

The Duke of York, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, today carried out the following engagements in Beijing, China.
His Royal Highness this morning called upon the President of the China Investment Corporation.
The Duke of York this afternoon attended a Luncheon at the Kerry Centre with representatives of the ChinaBritain Business Council, the Confederation of British Industry and the British Chamber of Commerce.
His Royal Highness later called upon the President of BP (China).
The Duke of York subsequently called upon the President of China Life.
His Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner with Chevening Scholars at the Residence of Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China (His Excellency Mr Sebastian Wood).

The Earl of Wessex this morning departed Heathrow Airport, London, for Kenya and later arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi, and was received by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Kenya (His Excellency Mr Robert Macaire).

The Princess Royal this morning visited a new manufacturing facility at Controlled Therapeutics (Scotland) Limited, 1 Redwood Place, East Kilbride, Glasgow, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lanarkshire (Mr Gilbert Cox).
Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited the new Headquarters of L. S. Smellie and Sons Limited, Hamilton House, Station Road, Strathaven, Lanarkshire.
The Princess Royal later visited the newly renovated Headquarters of Coalburn Silver Band, 27 Bellfield Road, Coalburn, Lanarkshire.

His Royal Highness today visited Gants Hill Library, 490 Cranbrook Road, Gants Hill, Ilford, Essex.
The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Heritage of London Trust, this evening attended a Concert at St Gabriel’s Church, Warwick Square, Pimlico, London SW1, and was received by Sir Michael Craig-Cooper (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London).
The Duchess of Gloucester this morning arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from the United States of America.
