Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Patron, today attended The Duke of York Young Champions’ Trophy Competition at Royal St George’s Golf Club, Sandwich, Kent.

His Royal Highness, Patron, this evening attended the Sponsors’ Dinner at Royal St George’s Golf Club.

The Princess Royal this afternoon visited the Leadership Trust to commemorate its Thirty Fifth Anniversary, Weston under Penyard, Ross-on-Wye, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Herefordshire (the Countess of Darnley).

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited H. Weston and Sons Limited, the Bounds, Much Marcle, Ledbury, Herefordshire.

The Princess Royal, Patron, the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, later launched Macmillan Welfare Benefits Project at Herefordshire Citizens Advice Bureau, 8 St Owen Street, Hereford.

Her Royal Highness, President, Riding for the Disabled Association, subsequently launched Herefordshire Rideability 2011 at Holme Lacy College, Holme Lacy, Hereford.

Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park

Princess Alexandra, formerly Chancellor, University of Lancaster, was represented by Professor Paul Wellings (Vice-Chancellor) at the Funeral of Sir Cyril Smith (formerly Deputy Pro-Chancellor) which was held in Rochdale Town Hall, the Esplanade, Rochdale, Greater Manchester, today.
