The Princess Royal, Patron, RYA Sailability, this morning opened Blackwell Sailing Clubhouse, Cockshot Wood, Glebe Road, Bowness-on-Windermere, Westmorland, and was received by Mr John Fryer-Spedding (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Cumbria).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Wooden Spoon Society, and President, Riding for the Disabled Association, later opened the new Indoor Riding Facility at Vale Mill Lane Stables, Vale Mill Lane, Haworth, Keighley, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire (Dr Ingrid Roscoe).

The Princess Royal this afternoon visited Pace Plc, Salts Mill, Victoria Road, Saltaire, Shipley, West Yorkshire.

Her Royal Highness later visited the Denby Dale Pie Company Limited, Unit 12, Denby Dale Industrial Park, Wakefield Road, Denby Dale, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Royal Colonel, 6th Battalion The Rifles, and The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Colonel, 7th Battalion The Rifles, this morning visited the Battalions during their Annual Training Period at Willsworthy Training Camp, Dartmoor, Devon.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Colonel, later visited soldiers from 7th Battalion The Rifles on Merrivale Ranges near Tavistock, Devon.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, President, the Stroke Association, this morning received Sir Charles George (Chairman) and Mr Jon Barrick (Chief Executive Officer).
