The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Sir Antony Acland, KG (formerly Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the United States of America) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Sir Peter Ramsbotham (formerly Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the United States of America and Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Bermuda) which was held in Winchester Cathedral this afternoon.
The Duke of Kent was represented by Mr Nicolas Adamson.

The Duke of York, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, this afternoon received the Rt Hon Andrew Mitchell MP (Secretary of State for International Development).
His Royal Highness, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, afterwards received Sir Andrew Cahn (Chief Executive, United Kingdom Trade and Investment).
The Duke of York, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, later received the Panamanian Vice Ministers for Commerce and Industry, and for Economy and Finance.

The Duke of Gloucester today visited Woodstock and was received by Mr John Harwood (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire).

His Royal Highness, Patron, the Woodstock Literary Festival, subsequently met festival volunteers and local business supporters at the Feathers Hotel in Market Street.

The Duke of Kent this morning visited the Park Opportunity Centre, Daventry Road, Knowle, Bristol, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County and City of Bristol (Mrs John Prior).
His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Exhibition, Flight — 100 Years of the Bristol Aeroplane Company, at Bristol City Museum and Art Gallery, Queen’s Road, Bristol.
