By command of The Queen, Mr Charles Gray (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Rasoul Movahedian Attar at 16 Prince’s Gate, London SW7, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Court of St James’s.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning arrived at Aberdeen Airport from India.
Mr Clive Alderton, Mrs Amanda MacManus, Mr Patrick Harrison, Miss Eva Omaghomi and Major William Mackinlay were in attendance.

The Earl of Wessex this morning arrived at Luton Airport, London, from India.

The Countess of Wessex this morning visited Brookside Community Primary School, Brooks Road, Street, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset (Lady Gass).
Her Royal Highness, President, the Royal Bath and West of England Society, later visited the Annual Dairy Show at the Showground, Shepton Mallet, Somerset.

The Princess Royal this morning visited Whitmuir Organics at Whitmuir Farm, West Linton, Peeblesshire, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Tweeddale (Captain David Younger).
Her Royal Highness afterwards opened Lauder Primary School, Allanbank Gardens, Lauder, Berwickshire, and was received by Sir Michael Strang Steel (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Roxborough, Etterick and Lauderdale).
The Princess Royal, Patron, College of Occupational Therapists, later visited Lochcarron Textile Factory at Riverside Industrial Estate, Dunsdale Road, Selkirk, Scottish Borders.
Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened the Percy Hedley Conductive Education Centre at Percy Hedley Lower School, Station Road, Forest Hall, Newcastle upon Tyne, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Tyne and Wear (Mr Nigel Sherlock).
The Princess Royal, Patron, Acid Survivors Trust International, this evening launched Burns Violence Survivors — Nepal at the Nepalese Embassy, 12A Kensington Palace Gardens, London W8.
Her Royal Highness later attended a StareheFuture Appeal Dinner at Thomas Goode, 19 South Audley Street, London W1.
St James’s Palace
The Duke of Kent, Grand Master, United Grand Lodge of England, this evening attended the Metropolitan Grand Lodge of London Fundraising Dinner, at Guildhall, London EC2.
His Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, was represented by Lieutenant General Sir Norman Arthur at the Memorial Service for Major Harry Willis which was held in the Church of Saint Cuthbert, 5 Lothian Road, Edinburgh, this afternoon.

Princess Alexandra, Patron, this afternoon opened the newly renovated Gardener Workshop in the Thrive Herb Garden, Battersea Park, London SW11, and was received by Colonel Ewen Cameron (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
