His Excellency Mr Ahmet Ünal Çeviköz was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Turkey to the Court of St James’s.
Mrs Çeviköz was also received by Her Majesty.
Her Excellency Mrs Dumsile Sukarti was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Kingdom of Swaziland in London.
Mr Simon Fraser (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.
Sir William Patey was received in audience by The Queen and kissed hands upon his appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
Lady Patey was also received by The Queen.
The Governor of Victoria, Professor David de Kretser, was received by Her Majesty this afternoon.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this morning visited the Royal National Mòd at Thurso High School and North Highland College of Further and Higher Education, Ormlie Road, Thurso, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Caithness (Miss Anne Dunnett).
His Royal Highness this afternoon opened the Sheridan Games Area, Monaltrie Park, Ballater, and was received by Mrs Joyce Mackie (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire).

The Duke of York later called upon the Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore at the Istana.
His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Lunch at Capital Tower given by the Deputy Chairman and Executive Director of the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation.
The Duke of York afterwards visited the Shell Eastern Petrochemicals Complex Control Tower, Pulau Bukom.
His Royal Highness this evening attended a Reception for Bibby Line Group at the St Regis Hotel.
The Duke of York subsequently attended a Dinner for United Kingdom innovation and creativity, given by the British High Commissioner (His Excellency Mr Paul Madden) at the Residence.

His Royal Highness this morning watched and presented the medals for the Women’s Singles Gold Badminton Match and watched the Men’s Doubles Gold Badminton Match at the Siri Fort Sports Complex.
The Earl of Wessex this afternoon watched the Netball Finals Match and presented the medals at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex.
His Royal Highness this evening attended the Closing Ceremony of the XIX Commonwealth Games at the Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Complex.
