The Queen held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

His Excellency Sir Arthur Foulkes was received by The Queen upon his appointment as Governor-General of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.

Lady Foulkes was also received by Her Majesty.

The Rt. Hon. David Cameron MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this evening.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Honorary Member, today attended a Luncheon at the Cavalry and Guards Club to mark its Two Hundredth Anniversary, 127 Piccadilly, London W1.

His Royal Highness, Colonel, Grenadier Guards, this afternoon chaired a Council Meeting at Buckingham Palace.

The Prince of Wales this morning received Officers and Soldiers from Right Flank 1st Battalion Scots Guards.

His Royal Highness afterwards received Mr. Kevin Spacey and invested him with the Insignia of an Honorary Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.

His Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening held a Reception in aid of the Welsh Guards Afghanistan Appeal at Clarence House.

Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park

Princess Alexandra, Deputy President, British Red Cross Society, this afternoon opened the new Red Cross Centre, 90 Eastern Avenue, Reading, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (the Hon. Mrs. Bayliss).

Her Royal Highness later presented The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service to the Royal County of Berkshire at Slough Town Hall, Bath Road, Slough.

The Queen has been pleased to appoint the Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry as a Trustee of the Royal Collection Trust to succeed Lady Shaw-Stewart, with effect from 31st March, 2011.
