COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

By command of Her Majesty, Mr Charles Gray (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Mohamed Salah Dembri at 21 Holland Park, London W11, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from Algeria to the Court of St James’s.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this afternoon attended a Reception to mark the Twenty Fifth Anniversary of the British Lebanese Association and to launch the book of The Prince of Wales Speeches in Arabic, at the Banqueting House, Whitehall, London SW1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

His Royal Highness later met members of the community affected by the recent flooding in Lostwithiel and St Blazey and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall (the Lady Mary Holborow).

The Princess Royal, Director, London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, this morning attended the Closing Session of the Meeting of the International Olympic Committee Coordination Commission at Deloitte and Touche, 2 New Street Square, London EC4.
