Buckingham Palace
His Excellency Mr Volodymyr Khandogiy was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Ukraine to the Court of St James’s.
Mrs Khandogiy was also received by Her Majesty.
His Excellency Mr Tomás Müller Sproat was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Chile to the Court of St James’s.
Ms Claudia Bobadilla was also received by Her Majesty.
Mr James Bevan (Director General, Foreign and Commonwealth Office) was present.
General Sir David Richards was received by The Queen upon relinquishing his appointment as Chief of the General Staff and assuming the appointment as Chief of the Defence Staff.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh held an Evening Reception at Buckingham Palace for the Diplomatic Corps at which The Earl and Countess of Wessex and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Colonel-in-Chief, Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, this morning received Brigadier Brian McCall upon relinquishing his appointment as Director Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (Army) and Brigadier Martin Boswell upon assuming the appointment.
His Royal Highness, Patron, Royal Academy of Arts, afterwards received Dr Charles Saumarez Smith (Secretary and Chief Executive) and Ms Jane Marriott (Director of Development).
The Duke of Edinburgh, Honorary Life Member, Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers, later presented The Prince Philip Award at Buckingham Palace.

The Prince of Wales, President, Business in the Community, this afternoon held a Dairy Farming Meeting at Clarence House.
His Royal Highness subsequently attended a Care Farming Brief at Clarence House.
The Prince of Wales later received the Rt Hon William Hague, MP (Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs).
His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Charities Foundation — China, this evening received Sir David Tang (Trustee).
His Royal Highness, Patron, Red Squirrel Survival Trust, afterwards attended a Dinner at Grocer’s Hall, Princes Street, London EC2.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Foundation, this morning held a Meeting.
The Countess of Wessex this afternoon attended the United Kingdom Dairy 2030 Forum at the House of Lords, London SW1.
Buckingham Palace
The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence, this afternoon visited a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation World Heritage Site, Environmental Research Centre, Aldabra Atoll, Seychelles.
Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Vice Admiral Laurence, later departed Seychelles for Mauritius and was received on arrival this evening at Mauritius International Airport by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Mauritius (His Excellency Mr Nicholas Leake).
