The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Mr. Jonathan Jagger (Surgeon-Oculist to The Queen) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Sir Patrick Homes Sellors (formerly Surgeon-Oculist to The Queen) which was held in St. John’s Wood Church, London NW8, this afternoon.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were represented by Professor John Cunningham (Head of Medical Household and Physician to The Queen).

Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy was represented by Lieutenant Colonel Gordon Birdwood (Gentleman Usher to The Queen).

The Duke of York, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, this afternoon received Sir Andrew Cahn upon relinquishing his appointment as Chief Executive.

His Royal Highness, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, afterwards received Mr. Lionel Barber (Editor, Financial Times).

The Duke of York, Patron, the Place, received Dr. Haruhisa Handa (Chairman, International Foundation for Arts and Culture) and Sir Timothy Lankester (Chairman, Contemporary Dance Trust, the Place).

His Royal Highness, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, received Mr. Simon Fraser (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs).

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, today attended Receptions at St. James’s Palace for young people who have reached the Gold Standard in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

His Royal Highness, Patron, National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, this evening attended a Reception in London.
