The Duchess of Rothesay this morning visited the Children 1st Corrieneuchin Service at 36 Carden Place, Aberdeen, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Aberdeen (Councillor Peter Stephen, the Lord Provost).
Her Royal Highness later visited the Reading Bus Project, Aberdeen University, King’s College, Regent Walk, Aberdeen.

His Royal Highness, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, this afternoon attended a briefing at the Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies, Whitehall, London SW1.
The Duke of York, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, later received the Rt Hon Christopher Huhne MP (Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change).

Her Royal Highness this morning received Captain Paddy McAlpine upon relinquishing his appointment as Captain of HMS Daring and Captain Guy Robinson upon assuming the appointment.

The Princess Royal this evening departed Royal Air Force Lyneham for Switzerland.
Her Royal Highness, President, Animal Health Trust, later attended a Dinner at Gstaad Yacht Club, Gstaad.

The Queen has been pleased, on the advice of the Prime Minister, to appoint the Lord Wilson of Tillyorn KT to be Her Majesty’s Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland in 2011.
