COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

His Excellency Mr. Hernán A. Couturier was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Peru to the Court of St. James’s.

Mrs. de Couturier was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr. Garvin Nicholas was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for Trinidad and Tobago in London.

Mr. Simon Fraser (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

Air Chief Marshal Sir Patrick Hine was received by The Queen and delivered up to Her Majesty the Rod, Badge and Chain of Office upon relinquishing his appointment as King of Arms of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.

Admiral Sir Peter Abbott was received by The Queen when Her Majesty handed to him the Rod, Badge and Chain of Office upon his appointment as King of Arms of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.

Mr. Justice Lindblom was received by The Queen upon his appointment as a Justice of the High Court when Her Majesty conferred upon him the honour of Knighthood and invested him with the Insignia of a Knight Bachelor.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this morning received the Lord Heseltine.

His Royal Highness afterwards received the Rt. Hon. Edward Miliband MP (Leader of the Opposition).

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon gave a Reception at Clarence House for Police Family Liaison Officers.

His Royal Highness, Patron, the Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership, this evening held a Dinner at Clarence House for the Cambridge Ecosystems and Natural Capital Programme.

The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited the Metropolitan Police Special Escort Group.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, President, Riding for the Disabled Association, this morning visited Muirfield Riding Therapy, West Fenton, North Berwick, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Lothian (Sir Garth Morrison KT).

Her Royal Highness, President, The Princess Royal Trust for Carers, today opened the East Lothian Carers’ Centre, 94 High Street, Musselburgh, and was received by Mr. Michael Williams (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of East Lothian).

The Princess Royal, Patron, Moredun Foundation, this afternoon visited the Moredun Research Institute, Pentlands Science Park, Bush Loan, Penicuik, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Midlothian (Mr. Patrick Prenter).
