COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

The Queen held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Chancellor, University of Cambridge, this morning visited the University Library, West Road, Cambridge.

His Royal Highness, Chancellor, University of Cambridge, this afternoon visited the Scott Polar Research Institute, Lensfield Road, Cambridge.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited the JCB Academy, Mill Street, Rocester, and were received by Colonel Michael Beatty (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire).

Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon visited Royal Crown Derby, 194 Osmaston Road, Derby, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Derbyshire (Mr William Tucker).

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall afterwards received Mr Robert Ross (Secretary of the Duchy of Cornwall) and visited Chestnut Farm on the Plumtree Estate, Station Road, Plumtree, Nottingham.

His Royal Highness later visited Bluebell Dairy, Brunswood Farm, Locko Road, Derby.

The Prince of Wales subsequently visited the newly restored Cromford Station, Cromford, Derbyshire.

The Duchess of Cornwall visited Derbyshire Rape Crisis Centre, Derby.

Her Royal Highness afterwards opened the new Ward Development at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Calow, Chesterfield, and was received by Mrs Janet Birkin (Deputy Lieutenant of Derbyshire).

The Earl of Wessex, Royal Colonel, 2nd Battalion The Rifles, this morning took the salute at the Junior Non-Commissioned Officers Cadre Passing Off Parade at Ballykinler Army Barracks, County Down.

His Royal Highness, Trustee, this afternoon attended a Reception at Hillsborough Castle, County Down, for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, afterwards attended a Lunch at Hillsborough Castle with representatives of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

His Royal Highness, on behalf of The Queen, later held an Investiture at Hillsborough Castle.

The Princess Royal this morning attended the First Passing Out Parade for Junior Soldiers at the Army Technical Foundation College (Winchester), Sir John Moore Barracks, Andover Road, Winchester, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Dame Mary Fagan).
