The Prince of Wales, Patron, Abbeyfield and the Almshouse Association, this morning visited Stannah Lifts Headquarters, Watt Close, East Portway, Andover, presented a stairlift to both charities and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Dame Mary Fagan).

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, President, Save the Children UK, this morning opened the Ripon Nearly New Sale at Hugh Ripley Hall, Skellbank, Ripon, and was received by Mrs Thomas Jowitt (Deputy Lieutenant of North Yorkshire).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Injured Jockeys Fund, this afternoon attended a Meeting at Highfield Stables, Beverley Road, Malton, and was received by the Reverend Rachel Benson (Deputy Lieutenant of North Yorkshire).

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Logistic Corps, later visited the Defence School of Transport, Normandy Barracks, Leconfield, East Riding of Yorkshire.
