His Royal Highness this morning received Mr Carwyn Jones AM (First Minister, National Assembly for Wales).

The Prince of Wales, Chancellor, University of Wales, this afternoon received Professor Marc Clement (Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive) and Mr Hugh Thomas (Chairman of the Council) and subsequently gave a Luncheon for students of the University.

His Royal Highness, Patron, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, later received the Lord Rowe-Beddoe (President).

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Chairman of the Trustees, the Patron’s Company, this afternoon held a Chairman’s Meeting and afterwards gave a Luncheon.

His Royal Highness later received Mr Marc Bolland (Chief Executive, Marks and Spencer).

The Duke of York received Mr Antonio Horta-Osorio (Chief Executive designate, Lloyds Bank).

His Royal Highness, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, this evening attended a Dinner given by Numis Corporation, London Stock Exchange Building, 10 Paternoster Square, London EC4.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal this morning departed Heathrow Airport, London, for the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

Mrs Malcolm Innes and Captain Nicholas Wright RN are in attendance.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, President, Commonwealth War Graves Commission, this morning departed Heathrow airport, London, for Malta.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Malta Memorial, Florianea.

The Duke of Kent this evening attended a Dinner given by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Malta (Her Excellency Ms Louise Stanton) at Villa de Giorgio, San Pawl tat-targa, Naxxar.
