The Baroness Garden of Frognal was received by The Queen this afternoon upon her appointment as a Baroness-in-Waiting to Her Majesty.
The Baroness Northover was received by The Queen upon her appointment as a Baroness-in-Waiting to Her Majesty.
Mr Justice Eder was received by The Queen upon his appointment as a Justice of the High Court when Her Majesty conferred upon him the honour of Knighthood and invested him with the Insignia of a Knight Bachelor.
Mr Howard Drake was received in audience by The Queen upon his appointment as British High Commissioner to Jamaica.
Mrs Drake was also received by Her Majesty.
Mr Anthony Phillipson was received in audience by The Queen upon his appointment as British High Commissioner to the Republic of Singapore.

There were present: the Rt Hon Nicholas Clegg MP (Lord President), the Lord Strathclyde (Leader of the House of Lords and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster), and the Rt Hon Eric Pickles MP (Secretary of State, Department for Communities and Local Government).
The Rt Hon Simon Burns MP, the Rt Hon Elfyn Llwyd MP, the Rt Hon Donald Foster MP and the Rt Hon James Paice MP were sworn in as members of Her Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council.
The Lord Dholakia made affirmation as a member of Her Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council.

The Rt Hon Nicholas Clegg MP had an audience of Her Majesty before the Council.
At the Council, The Queen pricked the List of High Sheriffs for the Counties of England (other than Cornwall and those in the Duchy of Lancaster) and Wales.
After the Council, the Lord Strathclyde had an audience of The Queen when Her Majesty pricked the List of High Sheriffs for the Counties of the Duchy of Lancaster.
The Rt Hon David Cameron MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of Her Majesty this evening.
The Duke of Edinburgh, President, Cutty Sark Trust, this morning visited the Cutty Sark, 2 Greenwich Church Street, London SE10, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).
His Royal Highness, President, this evening held a Dinner for the Cutty Sark Trust at Buckingham Palace.

The Prince of Wales received Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton (Chief of the Air Staff).
His Royal Highness received Mr John McCready (Managing Director, Government Property Unit), Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence, and Miss Rosaleen Kerslake (Chief Executive, The Prince’s Regeneration Trust).
The Prince of Wales, President, Business in the Community, this evening held a Dinner at Clarence House.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex this afternoon departed from Gatwick Airport, London, for Bermuda and were received on arrival this evening at L. F. Wade International Airport by the Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Bermuda (His Excellency Sir Richard Gozney).

The Princess Royal this morning unveiled a portrait of Her Majesty The Queen at the Scottish Parliament, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor George Grubb, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).
Her Royal Highness, Royal Patron, Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, today received Mr John Spence (President) and Mr. David Windmill (Chief Executive) at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
The Princess Royal, Patron, the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, this afternoon attended a Rededication Ceremony of the Earl Haig Monument in Hospital Square, Edinburgh Castle.
Her Royal Highness, Honorary Patron, the Scotland Malawi Partnership, this evening attended a Reception to commemorate One Hundred and Fifty Years of Friendship, Lothian Chambers, High Street, Edinburgh.
