The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Sir James Hawley (Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Sir Arthur Bryan (formerly Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire) which was held at the Minster Church of St Peter ad Vincula, Glebe Street, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, this morning.
The Duke of Kent was represented by Mr. Algernon Heber-Percy.

The Prince of Wales this morning attended The Prince’s Charities International Sustainability Unit Marine Meeting at St James’s Palace.

Prince William of Wales this morning visited residents and emergency workers in Sumner, Christchurch, New Zealand.
His Royal Highness later met student volunteers at South Hagley Park.
Prince William of Wales this afternoon attended a National Memorial Service at North Hagley Park for those affected by the Christchurch earthquake on 22nd February.
Prince Henry of Wales, Commodore-in-Chief, Small Ships and Diving, this morning visited HM Naval Dockyard, Portsmouth, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Dame Mary Fagan).
His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Mary Rose Trust, College Road, HM Naval Base, Portsmouth, and subsequently laid the foundation stone at the site of the Trust’s new Museum.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex this morning departed L. F. Wade International Airport, Hamilton, Bermuda, and were received later on arrival at Grantley Adams International Airport, Barbados, by the British High Commissioner to Barbados (His Excellency Mr. Paul Brummell).
Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon called upon the Governor-General of Barbados (Sir Clifford Straughn Husbands) at Government House.
The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, and The Countess of Wessex later visited crew members taking part in the Royal Regatta at Barbados Yacht Club.
His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, and Her Royal Highness this evening attended the Royal Regatta Dinner in Barbados.

The Princess Royal this afternoon attended the Cheltenham Festival at Cheltenham Racecourse and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).

The Duke of Kent, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, this morning visited the 5th Battalion at Otterburn Training Area, Newcastle upon Tyne.
