Windsor Castle

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh today visited Royal Air Force Valley, Anglesey, and were received this morning upon arrival by the Station Commander (Group Captain Bruce Hedley) and Sir Barry Thornton (Chief Executive Officer, Ascent).

Her Majesty inspected the Honour Guard.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh visited the Search and Rescue Force, toured the facilities and were briefed on Search and Rescue operations.

Her Majesty and His Royal Highness, escorted by Prince William of Wales, afterwards viewed a Search and Rescue Force Sea King helicopter.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh subsequently toured the Moran Building at the Military Flying Training School, meeting students and instructors.

Her Majesty and His Royal Highness were entertained to Luncheon by the Station Commander this afternoon.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh later visited the Military Flying Training School Hangar, viewing static displays and meeting Service personnel and their families.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this morning visited the Instituto de Empresa, Madrid, Spain.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon called upon the President of Andalucia (Mr José Antonio Griñan) at the Andalucian Regional Government Headquarters in Seville.

Their Royal Highnesses were received afterwards by the Mayor of Seville at the Town Hall.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the See and the Alcázar Palace in Seville.

His Royal Highness subsequently attended a United Kingdom Trade and Investment Reception at the Alcázar Palace.

The Prince of Wales later visited the Fundación Tres Culturas, Seville.

The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited the British Council English School of Madrid.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Cristina Hoyos Flamenco Museum in Seville.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, this morning received the Lord Green of Hurstpierpoint (Minister of State for Trade and Investment).

His Royal Highness, Patron, SS Great Britain Trust, this afternoon received Mr Matthew Tanner (Director).

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex today attended the British National Alpine Ski Championships in Meribel, France.

His Royal Highness this afternoon received the Lord Moynihan (Chairman, British Olympic Association) and Mr David Edwards (Chief Executive, British Ski and Snowboard).

The Earl of Wessex this evening attended a Dinner in Meribel in support of British Ski and Snowboard.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Director, London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, this morning attended the International Olympic Committee Co-ordination Commission Meeting at Deloitte and Touche, 2 New Street Square, London EC4.

Her Royal Highness, Master, the Worshipful Company of Butchers, accompanied by Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence, afterwards attended the Annual United Guilds Service in St Paul’s Cathedral, followed by a Reception at Butchers’ Hall, 87 Bartholomew Close, London EC1.
