COURT CIRCULAR

Windsor Castle

The Duke of Edinburgh, Trustee, The Prince Philip Trust Fund for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, this evening chaired a trustees’ meeting at Eton College, Windsor, and afterwards held a dinner, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (the Hon Mrs Bayliss).

Clarence House

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, Duke of Cornwall this morning received Mr Robert Ross (Secretary of the Duchy of Cornwall).

His Royal Highness, Royal Colonel, The Black Watch, 3rd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland, received Lieutenant Colonel Edward Fenton upon assuming his appointment as Commanding Officer.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this morning received Dr. Michael Lynch (Chief Executive, Autonomy).

His Royal Highness this afternoon received Mr Gita Wirjawan (Chairman, Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board).

The Duke of York afterwards attended a briefing and opened the UK Trade and Investment London Headquarters, Victoria Street, London SW1.

His Royal Highness later held a round table discussion for representatives of the technology and telecommunications industries.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Prince Philip Trust Fund for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, this evening attended a trustees’ meeting, followed by a dinner, at Eton College, Windsor, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (the Hon. Mrs. Bayliss).

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal this afternoon opened Samworth Church Academy, Sherwood Hall Road, Mansfield, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire (Sir Andrew Buchanan, Bt).

Her Royal Highness later opened Speedo’s new World Headquarters at Speedo House, Enterprise Way, NG2 Business Park, Nottingham, and was received by Colonel Timothy Richmond (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire).

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Patron, the Society for Army Historical Research, this afternoon presented the Templer Medal Book Prize at the Special Forces Club.
