The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon gave a Luncheon for Members of the Order of Merit at Windsor Castle.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Senior Fellow, the Bray Fellowship (College of St George), this evening attended the Annual Dinner at the Waterside Inn, Ferry Road, Bray, Berkshire.

The Duke of York, Honorary Air Commodore, today attended the 14 Squadron Disbandment Parade at Royal Air Force Lossiemouth and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Moray (Lieutenant Colonel Grenville Johnston).
His Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner given by the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board at Intercontinental Hotel, Park Lane, London W1.

The Earl of Wessex today visited Ilfracombe and was received by Sir John Cave, Bt (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Devon).
His Royal Highness this morning visited the Ilfracombe Centre, 44 High Street.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Tenovus Scotland, this morning opened the Centre for Molecular Medicine at the University of Dundee Medical School, Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Dundee (Mr John Letford, the Lord Provost).
Her Royal Highness later visited College of Life Sciences at the University of Dundee, Perth Road, Dundee.
The Princess Royal, Patron, the Unicorn Preservation Society, this afternoon attended the Affiliation Launch with the National Museum of the Royal Navy, South Victoria Dock Road, Dundee.
Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Royal Forth Yacht Club, later named the Royal Forth Yacht Club’s Dredger at Middle Pier, Granton Harbour, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor George Grubb, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).
The Princess Royal, Royal Patron, Motor Neurone Disease Association, subsequently visited the Euan MacDonald Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Research at the University of Edinburgh, Chancellor’s Building, 49 Little France Crescent, Edinburgh.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Music in Hospitals, this afternoon attended a Concert given by students of the Royal Academy of Music at St Mary’s Hospital, South Wharf Road, Paddington, London W2.
St James’s Palace
The Duke of Kent, President, the Royal Institution of Great Britain, this evening attended a Lecture entitled, “Zero degrees of empathy: a new theory of human cruelty”, at 21 Albemarle Street, London W1.
Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park
Princess Alexandra, Patron, Fairbridge, this afternoon received Mr Andrew Purvis (Chief Executive) at Buckingham Palace.
Her Royal Highness, Deputy Colonel-in-Chief, The Queen’s Royal Lancers, received Lieutenant Colonel Martin Todd upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer and Lieutenant Colonel Nigel Best upon assuming the appointment.
Major General Andrew Cumming (Colonel of the Regiment) was present.
