The Prince of Wales, President, the Royal Shakespeare Company, this evening attended a Gala Performance of Macbeth to celebrate the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Company at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Warwickshire (Mr Martin Dunne).

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Italy and were received upon arrival at Rome Fiumicino Airport by Mr George Edgar (Chargé d’Affaires at the British Embassy to the Holy See).

Their Royal Highnesses this evening attended a Dinner given by the Chargé d’Affaires at the British Embassy to the Holy See at the Residence in Rome.

Mrs Howard Page and Captain Mark Grayson are in attendance.
