His Excellency Mr Ljubiša Stankovic was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Montenegro to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Stankovic was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Miroslav Wlachovsk} was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Slovak Republic to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Wlachovská was also received by Her Majesty.

Mr Simon Fraser (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

The Prince of Wales this morning visited Georgetown University, Washington DC, United States of America, and gave a keynote speech at the Future for Food Conference.

His Royal Highness this afternoon called upon The President of the United States of America at the White House.

The Prince of Wales later attended a Reception given by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the United States of America (His Excellency Sir Nigel Sheinwald) at the Residence in Washington DC.

His Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner given by Senator John Kerry and Mrs Theresa Heinz in Georgetown.

The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited Emmaus Roman Catholic and Church of England Primary School, Southend Road, Manor Lane, Sheffield, and met students from the University of Sheffield Linguistics Society literacy project, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire (Mr David Moody).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Emmaus UK, this afternoon visited Emmaus Sheffield Community, Unit 5, Sipelia Works, Cadman Street, Sheffield.

The Duchess of Cornwall, President, National Osteoporosis Society, afterwards opened the Centre for Biomedical Research at Northern General Hospital, Sheffield.

Her Royal Highness later visited Foxhill and Parson Cross Advice Centre, 522 Wordsworth Avenue, Sheffield.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Giggleswick School, Settle, and was received by Brigadier John Wardle (Deputy Lieutenant of North Yorkshire).

The Earl of Wessex, Patron, British Paralympic Association, this morning received Mr Philip Lane upon relinquishing his appointment as Chief Executive.

His Royal Highness received General Sir Peter Wall (Chief of the General Staff).

The Earl of Wesex received Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton (Chief of the Air Staff).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Central Caribbean Marine Institute, this evening held a Dinner at Buckingham Palace.

The Countess of Wessex, President, the Royal Bath and West of England Society, attended the Council Meeting and Annual General Meeting at the Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset (Lady Gass).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened Wessex House at Broadway Park Young People’s Unit, Broadway Health Park, Barclay Street, Bridgewater, and was received by Admiral of the Fleet Sir Benjamin Bathurst (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset).
