His Royal Highness received the Ambassador from the United Arab Emirates (His Excellency Mr Abdulrahman Almutaiwee).

His Royal Highness this afternoon held a Meeting for Films Without Borders and later attended a Dinner at Windsor Castle.

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Army Veterinary Corps, this morning visited the Defence Animal Centre, Ashfordby Road, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, this afternoon opened the new premises of Charnwood Citizens Advice Bureau at the Old Magistrates Court, Woodgate, Loughborough, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire (Jennifer, Lady Gretton).

The Duke of Kent this afternoon attended Victory Day celebrations to mark the Seventieth Anniversary of the first Arctic Convoys, HMS Belfast, Morgan’s Lane, Tooley Street, London SE1.

His Royal Highness, Chairman of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conferences (United Kingdom Fund), later attended a Trustees’ Meeting at St James’s Palace.
