The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Founder, this afternoon held a Meeting for In Kind Direct at Clarence House.

His Royal Highness afterwards visited “Project Ocean” at Selfridges and Company, Oxford Street, London W1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

The Prince of Wales this evening attended a Concert performed by the Mariinsky Theatre at St James’s Palace.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon attended the London Press Club Awards Luncheon at the Berkeley Hotel, Knightsbridge, London SW1.

Her Royal Highness this evening attended the Arab International Women’s Forum Reception at Mansion House, London EC4, to celebrate their Tenth Anniversary.

The Duke of York, Patron, attended The Duke of York’s Sports Foundation Golf Day at Swinley Forest Golf Club, Ascot, Berkshire.

His Royal Highness was represented by Mr Peter Dawson (Secretary, Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews) at the Funeral of Mr Seve Ballesteros which was held in Pedreña Church, Santander, Spain, this afternoon.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Foundation, this morning attended a Meeting at Award House, 7-11 St Matthew Street, London SW1.

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Foundation, this evening attended a Dinner at the Savoy Hotel, Strand, London WC2.

The Princess Royal, Director, London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, this morning received Mr Neil Wood (Chief Finance Officer).

Her Royal Highness, Elder Brother, the Corporation of Trinity House, accompanied by Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence, later attended the Annual Meeting of the Court at Trinity House, Tower Hill, London EC3, at which The Princess Royal was installed as Master of the Corporation, followed by a Church Service in St Olave’s Church, Hart Street, and a Luncheon at Trinity House.

Her Royal Highness, President, The Princess Royal Trust for Carers, this afternoon attended a debate on “Carers — a Priority for Health” at Slaughter and May, 1 Bunhill Row, London EC1.

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Whitley Fund for Nature, accompanied by Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence, this evening presented the Annual Whitley Awards at the Royal Geographical Society, 1 Kensington Gore, London SW7.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, President, this morning attended the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution’s Annual General Meeting at the Weston Manor Hotel, Weston on the Green, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire (Mr Timothy Stevenson).

His Royal Highness, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, this evening attended the Grand Council Dinner at the Tower of London.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Florence Nightingale Foundation, this evening attended the Florence Nightingale Commemoration Service in Westminster Abbey, London SW1, and afterwards attended a Reception in the Deanery.
