Buckingham Palace
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh, with The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, this morning arrived at Cardiff Central Railway Station and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Glamorgan (Dr. Peter Beck) and the Rt. Hon. the Lord Mayor of Cardiff (Councillor Professor Delme Bowen).
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh, with The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, drove to the National Assembly for Wales Senedd in Cardiff Bay and were received by the Presiding Officer (Mrs. Rosemary Butler AM) and the First Minister (the Rt. Hon. Carwyn Jones AM).
Her Majesty was received with a fly-past by aircraft of the Royal Air Force.
The Presiding Officer welcomed The Queen and Her Majesty addressed the Members of the National Assembly for Wales and the First Minister replied.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh, with The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, were entertained to Luncheon by the Presiding Officer this afternoon at Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff Bay.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, today held an Alliance Steering Committee Meeting.
His Royal Highness, Patron, London Mozart Players, this evening held a Recital and Dinner at Buckingham Palace.
The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Mencap, this afternoon received Mr. Brian Baldock upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman and Mr. James Glover upon assuming the appointment.
Her Royal Highness, Chairman, Women in Business, (promoting The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award), this evening attended a Reception at 34 Hans Road, Knightsbridge, London SW3.
The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Vision Treloar Project, later attended a Dinner at St. James’s Palace.

The Princess Royal this morning received the Governor General of Grenada (His Excellency Sir Carlyle Glean) and subsequently received the Prime Minister of Grenada (the Hon. Tillman Thomas) at Spice Island Resort Hotel, Grand Anse Beach, St. George’s, Grenada.
Her Royal Highness later attended a Discussion on Culture, Immigration, Public Policy and Communities as part of the Caribbean-Canada Emerging Leaders’ Dialogue at Windward Islands Research and Educational Foundation, St. George’s University, St. George’s.
The Princess Royal this afternoon attended a Discussion on the “Importance of Culture and History as an Economic Driver” as part of the Caribbean-Canada Emerging Leaders’ Dialogue at Windward Islands Research and Educational Foundation, St. George’s University.
Her Royal Highness, President, Caribbean-Canada Emerging Leaders’ Dialogue (part of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conferences), later departed from Maurice Bishop International Airport, Grenada, for Barbados and was received on arrival at Grantley Adams International Airport by the British High Commissioner to Barbados (His Excellency Mr. Paul Brummell).
The Princess Royal this evening attended a Reception and Dinner for Members of the Caribbean-Canada Emerging Leaders’ Dialogue at Sandy Lane Golf Resort and Spa, St. James.

Princess Alexandra, Royal Patron, the Chopin Society, this evening attended a Gala Concert to mark the Fortieth Anniversary of the Society at Strawberry Hill, Twickenham, Middlesex.
