The Hon Colin Barnett (Premier of Western Australia) was received by The Queen today.

Mrs Barnett was also received by Her Majesty.

General Sir David Richards (Chief of the Defence Staff) was received by The Queen.

Admiral Michael Mullen (Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, United States) was received by Her Majesty.

Today is the Ninetieth Anniversary of the Birthday of The Duke of Edinburgh.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, this afternoon held a Reception to mark the Centenary of Royal National Institute for Deaf People at Buckingham Palace.

His Royal Highness, Colonel, Grenadier Guards, this evening presided over a Conference attended by the Colonels of the Regiments of the Household Division at Buckingham Palace and subsequently entertained the Colonels to Dinner.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall this afternoon chaired a Meeting of The Prince’s Council at Clarence House.

The Duke of Cambridge was present.

His Royal Highness, Colonel, Welsh Guards, this evening attended the Senior Colonels’ Conference and Dinner at Buckingham Palace.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Cambridge, Colonel, Irish Guards, this evening attended the Senior Colonels’ Conference and Dinner at Buckingham Palace.

The Earl of Wessex, Royal Honorary Colonel, The London Regiment, this evening attended the Senior Colonels’ Conference and Dinner at Buckingham Palace.

The Princess Royal this morning arrived at Gatwick Airport, London, from Barbados.

Captain Nicholas Wright RN was in attendance.

Her Royal Highness, Colonel, The Blues and Royals (Royal Horse Guards and 1st Dragoons) this evening attended the Senior Colonels’ Conference and Dinner at Buckingham Palace.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Vice President, Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association, and The Duchess of Gloucester today visited the Royal Cornwall Show at the Royal Cornwall Showground, Wadebridge, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall (the Lady Mary Holborow).
