Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence was received by The Queen at Windsor Castle today when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Colonel, 7th Battalion The Rifles, this afternoon visited the Regiment at Sennybridge Camp, Powys.
Her Royal Highness, Commandant-in-Chief, St. John Ambulance in Wales, later visited the St. John Cymru Wales Baby Safe Course at the 3Gs Development Trust, Gurnos Community Health and Resource Centre, Merthyr Tydfil, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Mid Glamorgan (Mrs. KathrinThomas) and subsequently visited the Workers Educational Association Switch On Computer Training Course.
