The Duke of Kent, Patron, Royal Air Force Charitable Trust, this morning attended the Royal International Air Tattoo at Royal Air Force Fairford and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).

The Queen has been pleased, on the recommendation of the Baroness Anelay of St Johns, to make the following promotion in and appointment to Her Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms:

Colonel Michael Robertson to be Harbinger upon the retirement of Colonel Sir Brian Barttelot, Bt.

Lieutenant Colonel Simon Milne to be one of Her Majesty’s Body Guard upon the promotion of Colonel Michael Robertson.
