His Excellency Mr Calixte Batossie Madjoulba was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Togo to the Court of St James’s.
Mrs Madjoulba was also received by Her Majesty.
His Excellency Mr Mazen Homoud was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Jordan to the Court of St James’s.
Mrs Homoud was also received by Her Majesty.
Mr Simon Fraser (Permanent Under-Secretary, Foreign and Commonwealth Office) was present.
The Queen, Duke of Lancaster, received the Lord Shuttleworth (Chairman of the Council of the Duchy of Lancaster) and Mr Paul Clarke (Chief Executive).
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh gave an Afternoon Party in the garden of Buckingham Palace.

Her Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms and The Queen’s Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were on duty.
The Band of the Scots Guards and The Royal Air Force Squadronaires played selections of music during the afternoon.

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Firefighters Memorial Trust, this morning attended a Service of Blessing for the new Standard and presented the Royal Charter at the Honourable Artillery Company, Armoury House, City Road, London EC1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).
The Princess Royal, Patron, the Jubilee Woods Project, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening held a Dinner at St James’s Palace.
Kensington Palace
The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon opened Christ the King Catholic and Church of England Primary School, Fir Grove, Macclesfield, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire (Mr David Briggs).
His Royal Highness afterwards visited an Exhibition of the Macclesfield Charters to mark the Seven Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the Granting of a Borough Charter, Macclesfield Town Hall, Market Place, Macclesfield.
The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester later visited the Royal Horticultural Society’s Flower Show at Tatton Park, Knutsford.
The Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon unveiled a plaque to commemorate the renovation of Queen’s Park, Crewe, and was received by Mrs Joelle Warren (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire).
Her Royal Highness afterwards opened Hill House, Leonard Cheshire Disability Home, Newcastle Road, Sandbach.

The Duke of Kent, Colonel, Scots Guards, today received Lieutenant Colonel Lincoln Jopp MC upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer 1st Battalion and Lieutenant Colonel Robert Howieson upon assuming the appointment.
