Colonel Sir Brian Barttelot, Bt, was received by The Queen and delivered up his Stick of Office upon his retirement as Harbinger of Her Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms.
Colonel Michael Robertson was received by The Queen upon his appointment as Harbinger of Her Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms and received from The Queen his Stick of Office.
The Rt Hon Mark Francois MP (Vice Chamberlain of the Household) was received in audience by The Queen and presented an Address from the House of Commons to which Her Majesty was graciously pleased to make reply.
The Queen attended a Dinner at Windsor Castle this evening to celebrate the Tercentenary of Ascot Racecourse and was received by Her Majesty’s Representative at Ascot Racecourse (Mr John Weatherby).

His Royal Highness later gave a Reception for American Evangelical leaders.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening gave a Dinner for Regimental Commanding Officers of Regiments with which Their Royal Highnesses are affiliated.

His Royal Highness later visited Kilfrost Group Limited, Albion Works, Haltwhistle, and was received by Mrs Patricia Birley (Deputy Lieutenant of Northumberland).
The Earl of Wessex this afternoon visited the Roman Army Museum, Hexham.
His Royal Highness afterwards visited Allendale Forge Studios and Visitor Centre, Market Place, Allendale, and was received by Mrs Caroline Pryer (Deputy Lieutenant of Northumberland).
