Colonel Sir Brian Barttelot, Bt, was received by The Queen and delivered up his Stick of Office upon his retirement as Harbinger of Her Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms.

Colonel Michael Robertson was received by The Queen upon his appointment as Harbinger of Her Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms and received from The Queen his Stick of Office.

The Rt Hon Mark Francois MP (Vice Chamberlain of the Household) was received in audience by The Queen and presented an Address from the House of Commons to which Her Majesty was graciously pleased to make reply.

The Queen attended a Dinner at Windsor Castle this evening to celebrate the Tercentenary of Ascot Racecourse and was received by Her Majesty’s Representative at Ascot Racecourse (Mr John Weatherby).

The Prince of Wales, President and Patron, the Hunt Staff Benefit Society, this afternoon held the Annual General Meeting.

His Royal Highness later gave a Reception for American Evangelical leaders.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening gave a Dinner for Regimental Commanding Officers of Regiments with which Their Royal Highnesses are affiliated.

The Earl of Wessex this morning visited Hexham Abbey in celebration of children’s education and was received by Mrs Bryony Gibson (Deputy Lieutenant of Northumberland).

His Royal Highness later visited Kilfrost Group Limited, Albion Works, Haltwhistle, and was received by Mrs Patricia Birley (Deputy Lieutenant of Northumberland).

The Earl of Wessex this afternoon visited the Roman Army Museum, Hexham.

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Allendale Forge Studios and Visitor Centre, Market Place, Allendale, and was received by Mrs Caroline Pryer (Deputy Lieutenant of Northumberland).

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Sir Oswald Stoll Foundation, this morning received Mr Richard Brunwin upon relinquishing his appointment as Chief Executive and Mr Edward Tytherleigh upon assuming the appointment.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon chaired a charities forum at Buckingham Palace.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Greater London Fund for the Blind, this evening attended the Ninetieth Anniversary Dinner at the Lanesborough, Hyde Park Corner, London SW1.

Her Royal Highness, Director, London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, today attended a Board Meeting at 1 Churchill Place, London E14.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended the Ascot Tercentenary Dinner at Windsor Castle.

The Duke of Kent, Colonel, Scots Guards, today received Colonel Alastair Mathewson upon relinquishing his appointment as Lieutenant Colonel and Colonel Harold Nickerson upon assuming the appointment.

Princess Alexandra this morning opened the Torch Centre at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopædic and District Hospital NHS Trust, Oswestry, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire (Mr Algernon Heber-Percy).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Richard Higgins Conservation Limited, Merry Lane, Sansaw Heath, near Shrewsbury.
