Buckingham Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh, Colonel-in-Chief, The Queen’s Royal Hussars, this afternoon visited the Regiment at Athlone Barracks, Sennelager, Germany.

Brigadier Archie Miller-Bakewell was in attendance.

The Princess Royal, Chancellor, the University of Edinburgh, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this morning visited the Main Library and opened the “Women Firsts” Project at the University of Edinburgh Library Building, 30 George Square, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor George Grubb, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).
