Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Honorary Air Commodore, this afternoon attended the Medals Ceremony at Royal Air Force Lossiemouth and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Moray (Lieutenant Colonel Grenville Johnston).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Buckie High School, West Cathcart Street, Buckie, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Banffshire (Mrs Clare Russell).

The Duke of York afterwards visited Lossie Seafoods, 2 March Road Industrial Estate, Buckie.

His Royal Highness this evening held a series of Meetings at the Town and County Hall, Union Street, Aberdeen, with the following: Mr Marcos Assayag (Equipment and Logistics Programme Manager, Petrobras) and Dr Antonio Claudio Correa (Reservoir Engineering Project Manager, Petrobras); Mr Nurlan Sauranbayev (Vice Minister of Industry and Technologies, Kazakhstan) and Mr Ernest Nwapa (Executive Secretary, Nigerian Content Development Board).

The Duke of York subsequently attended the Offshore Europe 2011 Dinner at the Town and County Hall.
