Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, President, this evening held a Reception at Clarence House to mark the Thirtieth Anniversary of WaterAid.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited Walworth Garden Farm, 206 Manor Place, Braganza Street, London SE17, and was received by Mrs. Jennifer Bianco (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited the Guerrilla Gardening site in Elephant and Castle, London SE1.

The Duchess of Cornwall later visited the Stannard Hall Capital Growth Project and the Myatt’s Fields Park Greenhouse Project, Cormont Road, Camberwell, London SE5, and was received by Mrs. Rosemary Prescott (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this morning attended a series of Meetings with representatives of the tidal and wave energy sectors at St. Magnus Centre, Palace Road, Kirkwall, Orkney Islands, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Orkney (Dr. Anthony Trickett).

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Luncheon for representatives of the renewables sector and local government at St. Magnus Centre.

The Duke of York later flew over and viewed the European Marine Energy Centre Fall of Warness Tidal Site and the Billia Croo Test Wave Site en route to Stromness.

His Royal Highness afterwards attended a Meeting with representatives of European Marine Energy Centre at their offices, Old Academy, Back Road, Stromness, Orkney Islands.

The Duke of York subsequently attended a briefing on tidal projects at the Lyness (Hoy) site, Orkney Islands.

His Royal Highness later visited Glenfarclas Distillery, Ballindalloch, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Banffshire (Mrs. Clare Russell).

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Royal Honorary Colonel, this morning visited The London Regiment on training exercises at Catterick Garrison Barracks, North Yorkshire.

His Royal Highness, Patron, National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, this evening attended a performance of “Orpheus & Eurydice” at the Old Vic Tunnels, Station Approach, London SE1.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Royal Fellow, the Royal Academy of Engineering, this morning received Sir John Parker (President) and Mr. Philip Greenish (Chief Executive).
